Description
The goal of this poster is to create an enthusiastic learning environment where students and teachers are challenged with engaging and open discussion on bullying and its effects on a student(s). To understand what a bully is actually trying to do to a target during an episode(s) of bullying behaviour.
This poster creates discussion on bullying and the importance of a student's understanding of the flow and effects of Emotions to Thoughts to Actions. This poster highlights that from their feelings/emotions, how emotions manifest to thoughts and lead to actions. I encourage a student to be AWARE of their emotions and how emotions may affect their thoughts (negatively or positively), which lead to their actions (safe or harmful). How their emotions may affect other student(s) positively (safe and fun interaction) or negatively (e.g. bullying). Become aware of their Emotions, Thoughts and Actions.
This poster gives a good opportunity to discuss negative emotions such as anger, jealousy, resentment, hostility and bitterness (to name a few). Positive emotions/thoughts such as happiness, joy, play and creativity. To be mindful of playful interaction without fear.
Aggression is overt or covert, social interaction with the intention of inflicting HURT, damage or other THREATS to another student's SAFETY. It may occur either reactively or without provocation. I would like this poster to create awareness that if a student is aware of their negative feelings and with transformational education can CHANGE their MINDSET and not partake in bullying behaviours.
