Description
Texas History students will learn about the early explorers of Texas and the establishment of missions with these 12 resources. The presentation includes a note guide with comprehension tasks and a primary source analysis. There are also 28 task cards and a map activity for exploration and missions. The Missions in Texas resource includes vocabulary work, map work, and comprehension questions. Students will demonstrate further understanding of the material by completing true/false/fix, creating trading cards and a cube, and by taking a test. There is also a webquest and primary source analysis covering different aspects of La Salle and Ft. St. Louis. Teacher information, templates, and the answers are included where appropriate and some of these activities would work with a sub!
