Description

LUCK OF THE PIRATES - Place Your Bets

Luck of the Pirates is an exciting game that will help students identify prime numbers, composite numbers, factors, and multiples. Pirates (players) test their luck by rolling dice to try to increase their fortune by placing bets. The players will determine the likelihood of an outcome using words such as likely, unlikely, etc. The answer key shows the probability of outcomes as a fraction, percent, and in words. For example, the sum is a prime number. There is a 15/36 or a 42 % chance the sum will be a prime number when rolling 2 dice.
