Find a Rainbow Activity Pack

Thank you for purchasing Find a Rainbow Day Activity Pack from the Happy Hive/ homeschool holiday.com. I created this file for use in your home or classroom. Please do not resell these files in electronic or print form.

 This packet is designed to complement the holiday for April 3rd -Find a Rainbow Day. You can use it anytime.   If you would like something custom, please contact me and I will do my best to meet your needs.

 It does not have to be raining to find a rainbow. You can easily make your own. Please check my BLOG for ideas. There are also ideas in the videos I have linked in the packet using QR codes.

 At first glance, you may think finding rainbows is just for the youngest of learners - but I have included activities suitable for K-6. Older learners enjoy color hunts too. (There is a great idea for grades 4-6 on my blog!)

 Page 3 and 4 have 2 different versions of a "color hunt activity.

Page 5 contains the recommended QR codes. If you have access to the Magic School Bus Season 3, Episode 7 - Makes a Rainbow - that is another GREAT resource for this pack.

Page 6 is a graphic organizer for note taking, and organizing facts gathered from watching the videos. Page 7 is a Black & White version to save ink, or for classroom use.

 Page 8 contains a QR code to SciShow Kids. The target audience is K-2, I have used these videos with older students, as the information is good. This video contains an easy way to make an inside rainbow on a sunny day!

 The last 2 pages are coloring pages for you to enjoy!
