Students work through math problems based on scenarios about purchasing and renovating a home. They have to work within a budget to choose their finishings and renovations.
Required Math:
- Calculating area of rectangular spaces
- Calculating the cost of materials based on square footage
- Converting square inches to square feet
- Finding percentage of an area
- Volume of a rectangular prism
- Converting cubic inches to cubic feet
- Composite area
