Welcome to Fluency Chains! In this whole class activity, students will be able to use Pythagorean Theorem at their own pace and contribute to a class-wide paper chain. In Fluency Chains, single classes can complete the activity, then complete it again after more practice to compare their growth! Similarly, multiple class periods can complete this activity to compete against each other for the longest paper chain!
Once finished, these Fluency Chains are great student work examples to display in the classroom. In this product of the Pythagorean Theorem, you will find:
- triangles
- solving for either A, B, or C
- rectangles with a diagonal (see preview pages for example)
- and one challenge page included!
