Fractions and Decimals - Adding Fractions and Decimals with Negatives

 Looking for an addition to your integer unit that includes fractions and decimals with negatives? The digital portion of the lesson asks students to find the sign, positive or negative, of their solution. This is an important step for pre-algebra students. It can be tricky when students are adding fractions and decimals with different signs. They need to determine which has the greatest absolute value. So they will review fractions with like numerators and fractions with like denominators. They will also add decimals and determine which has the greater absolute value. When they finish the digital lesson, they will be ready to complete the worksheet included in the product.
