Description
Neighbor Equations is a competitive classroom game that is ready to use. Download, click and experience a motivational game to help students improve their mental math skills. In this game you are given the digits 0 to 9 on the outside ring of the game board. Use these numbers with the operations +, -, x, and ÷ and brackets to arrive at the target number in the middle. However, when you use a number, the next number you use must be that number’s neighbor and then you must continue in the same direction without skipping numbers to build an equation to reach the target number.
Each slide contains a different gameboard plus several different random target numbers that appear with the click of your mouse. In addition, the numbers in the outside ring as well as the target numbers can be easily edited. Simply click on a number, erase it and replace it, while maintaining the top-quality digital PowerPoint graphics built into the game. This allows you to replay the game as many times as you want, to make suggested adaptations as included with the game, or to vary the level of play for different grades or students.
