Description
This is a sample activity from my no-prep packet on American abolitionists. It can be used as a bell work booklet, but would also be suitable for sub plans, or for early finishers. One of my focuses when creating this was to ensure that students was improving student literacy through historical readings and a variety of writing prompts.
Although this is a perfect resource for Black history month, I feel like it's important to celebrate these individuals and their accomplishments throughout the year when learning about topics like Triangular trade, the slave trade, and the impacts of industrialization.
