Full Month of Pre-K- Kindergarten- Lessons, Activities, Printables (October)

October Focus- Letter Sounds S, A, T, P , I , N. Upper case and Lower case letters. Patterning with Loose Parts and Manipulatives. Nature Sorting, Comparison (More and Less),  Pumpkins and Gourds, Giving Thanks and Halloween. STEAM includes chemical reactions, senses, pumpkins, machines.

 October is here and we are settled into routines and making new friends and learning new things.   

 Students will:

• Recognize their names and the names of others.
• Recognize and learn sounds SATPIN
• Construct simple patterns and sort various materials.
• Take part in discussions about themselves and the topics covered.
• Create art to express themselves and their likes.
• Respond to the social aspect of being at school.
• Use a variety of materials to express Literacy and Numeracy behaviours.
• Take part in 4 STEAM activities.
