Need a new way to have students to research about South America? Put a little twist in the lesson. Have student play Tic-Tac-Toe while learning about South America.
This lesson will not only give students autonomy and choices in what they learn, but will also create a fun way to have student complete research on South American government, economics, geography, and cultural.
Students will receive a Tic-Tac-Toe board with multiple question, 2 per square. Students will choose one question or activity from each Tic-Tac-Toe square to form a Tic-Tac-Toe horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. You may have student complete up to two Tic-Tac-Toe without answering the same question twice. If time is limited, you may shorten the lesson by having student complete only one Tic-Tac-Toe.
