Geography: Christmas Around the World - Traditions Trivia PowerPoint Game

A fun way to learn Christmas Traditions and cultures around the world for all ages!

Students will work in collaborative groups. Each Team will need a whiteboard to write their answers on. Each "Hint" slide includes five hints, one displayed at a time until all hints are presented. Each team will be given 10 seconds to write their answer on the answer on the board. When the teacher says, "Jingle bells." All teams show their answers. For each team that guesses the correct answer will receive a token.

Note: A map for each team may be of some help. Have fun! I know your students will. For middle school and high school.

INSTRUCTIONS:

•You will be assigned a team.

•As the hints appear on each slide, you and your teammates will determine what country to which the hints are referring.

•You will write your answer on your whiteboard.

•Once all 5 hints are presented, you will have 10 seconds to write the name of the country on your whiteboard.

•The instructor will say “Jingle Bells,” communicating that you may show your answer.

•Each team that gets the answer correct will receive a token.

•At the end of the trivia game, the team that has the most tokens wins!
