BUST the myths and build critical thinkers!
This Health Myth Busting: Student Edition Project is the perfect way to teach your high school health students how to analyze health misinformation, use credible sources, and present evidence-based conclusions. Students will choose 2–3 popular health myths, conduct research using trusted health websites, and present their findings through creative formats like slideshows, videos, posters, or live demonstrations.
This resource is designed to support SHAPE America Health Standards with a focus on:
- Evaluating credible health information
- Identifying media influence and misinformation
- Using decision-making and critical thinking skills
