This I Am the Music Man Spinner game provides several opportunities to practise music vocabulary both in the making of it and in playing with it afterwards. It complements the popular Music Man song and can be used as either part of a unit on music OR as a follow-up activity to the book, I am the Music Man, illustrated by Diane Potter.

Detailed activity suggestions provide inspiration for a variety of ways you can conduct this activity. During the making of the game, children will develop their fine motor skills. Playing the game supports the development of social skills, as well as communication and language.

To make this game, you will need:

butterfly clips
Old CDs (but this resource includes templates that you can use as a substitute)
