This product is a Google form linked to an interactive timeline on the English Reformation and an interactive map of the major religions in Europe around 1600.
By 1600, the Reformation had led to major changes in the religions practiced in Europe. The English Reformation was a series of events in 16th-century England by which the Church of England broke away from the authority of the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church.
Students will analyze the map and timeline, then complete the 6 reading comprehension questions and 2 grids on the form. This activity has worked very well in pairs. This is an enrichment activity.
Students can select the following religions on the interactive map to see how the religious face of Europe looked by 1600:
