Ionic and Molecular Compounds Chemistry Escape Room Activity

This exciting escape room makes LEARNING chemistry FUN!!!  This activity provides you with the opportunity to make reviewing naming ionic and molecular compounds more engaging.  The escape room with six stations can be completed in less than an hour.     

Topics include:

• Naming ionic compounds
• Writing ionic formulas
• Naming molecular compounds
• Writing molecular formulas

This escape room has a variety of engaging activities to accommodate and challenge different learning styles.  Don’t have any escape room boxes and/or locks? NO PROBLEM! I’ve also included in this package a ‘Google Form digital box and lock template’ you can use instead.  With a boxless method I suggest you store the station cards in envelopes!  

What isn’t included here?

• Physical boxes and locks (digital ones are supplied if you want to go that route)
• Invisible marker and UV light (although, this station can be completed using a highlighter instead)
