Description
Students will read a three and a half page overview of Julius Caesar's early life, rise to power, time in power, and downfall. They will then complete a 15 task map activity and respond to 16 questions/tasks. The answers are included and this would be great for a sub!
Sample questions include:
--In what way(s) could support from common Romans prove more useful than support from Senators?
--Explain what the First Triumvirate was.
--Why are there multiple paintings/images of the same event? What accounts for the similarities and differences? How can one be considered the most accurate?
--In what way(s) did Caesar impact Rome transitioning from Republic to Empire?
--One of many quotes attributed to Caesar is, “I came, I saw, I conquered.” Explain how that relates to Caesar and create an image to represent it.
