Tazmin Jermier has 11 years of teaching experience. The last 10 have been in Jacksonville, Florida in inner city schools, and the last 9 have been teaching 5th grade ELA and U.S History. She has a bachelors degree in Journalism and a M.Ed in Secondary Education.  She has a passion for creating lessons and projects that help bring history to life for her students.  Her goal is always to show her students that history plays a very real role in how our country is shaped today. She teaches a combination of gifted and academically talented students, as well as students who are below grade level, so her lessons and projects can be easily differentiated so that all of her students can benefit from them and be successful in learning from them.
