Description

Linear Equations Slope Intercept Standard Graph Exit Ticket Formative Assessment

This is a PDF document that contains (9) different Linear Equations Skills Exit Tickets.

Each Exit Ticket Skill has (3) different versions on ONE page.

The versions are labeled A, B, C.

Answer keys are included for all problems.

These exit tickets could also be bell ringers, could be cut into task cards, could be a "pop quiz". The possibilities are endless.

Below is a list of the skills included in this document:

Calculate Slope Given Two Points

  • Students are given 2 problems with each containing 2 sets of ordered pairs to assess their understanding of the Slope formula

Identify the Slope of a Line

  • Students are given (1) equation in Slope Intercept form and (1) equation in Standard Form to assess their understanding of which value represents the slope as well as converting Standard Form into Slope Intercept Form.

Writing Linear Equations from Graphs

  • Students are given 2 problems. Each problem has a graphed line. Students are required to identify the Slope (m), the y-intercept (b) and write the equation in Slope Intercept Form.

Identify the Slope from a Graph

  • Students are given (2) graphed lines that have 2 points (dots) on each line. The students are required to demonstrate an understanding of “counting” rise over run to identify the slope.

Graphing Slope Intercept Form

  • Students are given (2) Slope Intercept Equations and (2) blank graphs to demonstrate an understanding of graphing an equation in Slope Intercept Form.

Writing Linear Equations in Point Slope Form given a Point and Slope

  • Students are given (2) problems with each problem containing a set of ordered pairs and slope. Students are required to write equations in Point Slope Form.

Convert Standard Form Equations to Slope Intercept Form

  • Students are given (2) equations in Standard Form and they are required to convert the equations to Slope Intercept Form.

Calculate the X and Y Intercepts

  • Students are given (2) Standard Form Equations to demonstrate their understanding of calculating x and y intercepts.

Write a Linear Equation in Slope Intercept Form given Two Points

  • Students are given (2) sets ordered pairs and they are required to calculate the slope, the y-intercept and write an equation in Slope Intercept Form.

Writing Parallel and Perpendicular equations in Slope Intercept Form

  • Students are given (1) parallel and (1) perpendicular problem. The students will write parallel or perpendicular equations that pass through given points.
