Making a Book about St. Louis and Westward Expansion

This activity combines process and content allowing students to use the included thirty-four well-researched pages to create their own personal book about St. Louis and its citizens as they struggled with the events surrounding the development of the American West. When they have completed making their own book it can be used both as a content background about the Westward expansion and as springboard for a variety of extension activities related to this period in American history.
