Middle Ages Activity Myth or Fact Medieval Europe Video Guide Analysis

Students will watch and analyze a 4 and a half minute video covering 6 myths about the Middle Ages (life in Medieval Europe) by answering 22 questions and completing a creative task.  The answers are included where appropriate and the video is from TedEd. 

Sample questions include:
--Identify the first misconception held about many people during the Middle Ages.
--What belief could have supported that misconception?
--Summarize the connection between spices and rotten meat.
--Explain why/how the phrase the “Dark Ages” became used in reference to the early Middle Ages.
--How did the depiction of the Middle Ages change under the influence of 19th century European nationalist thinkers?
