Description
This thirteen question three page activity allows students to investigate some major models of the atom and individuals that contributed to the development of these models. (Chadwick, Crookes, Thomson, Rutherford, etc.) The Bohr model or modern atomic structure is NOT addressed in this webquest, but is in the Models of the Atom learning activities packet. This three page activity is designed for completion within one hour and is available in both word and pdf format. An answer key to the activity is enclosed.
This activity is suitable for use with advanced middle level, high school or first year college chemistry students. Student internet access is required for the completion of this webquest.
