PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This special education activity is designed for the students who need to continue to work on fine motor development.
Many special education students struggle with day-to-day tasks due to poor fine motor skills. This fun activity is designed to be tailored to the needs of the student.
Students can complete the sorting activity on the accompanying handout and then choose a word to build a bracelet with the beads to give to a special mom/grandma/aunt/teacher
There are:
- Printing lines to practice writing their name.
- Box bullets to check off as they go.
- Larger print for the visually impaired.
- Visuals to keep students engaged and hands-on activity for fine motor skill development
You can differentiate this activity by filling in the blanks for the students, not having them sort the letters first, etc.
If you want it more challenging, you can put a minimum number of letters the students can use, or use adjectives instead of nouns (instead of love, they can use the adjective - lovely)
There is a .pdf file for you to print and copy, or a .doc file if you would like to tailor it to suit the individual needs of your students.
