Description
This activity unit is broken into 5 days (or sections of days) to work with students after reading My Rotten, Redheaded Older Brother by Patricia Polacco.
It includes:
. a day-by-day guide of vocabulary work
. character traits
. text evidence
. comparing and contrasting
. comprehension
. writing assessments.
For many of the activities, students are encouraged to work with a partner and note-taking sheets are helpful and included. Also included is the Melissa Gilbert read-aloud of the book. It is recommended that students have copies to share after story is first read to complete activities.
