Description
Students will watch a 5 minute video analyzing the two sides of Napoleon's legacy and answer 20 questions. They will then complete an extension task and determine for themselves whether they think he was more on the positive side or more of a villain. The answers are included where appropriate. The video is from TedEd.
Sample questions include:
--What role did British propaganda play in how Napoleon is characterized?
--Why does the defense say Napoleon wasn’t a tyrant?
--Which government was considered an oligarchy?
--Why was 1802 a significant year?
--Identify one cause and effect of the international order being “shattered.”
