Natural Disasters One Pager Activity
Description
After researching and reading about 5 different natural disasters, I used this as the culminating project/assessment for my mini unit. Students have to design a one pager about one specific natural disaster we learned about. They must include specific information such as causes and effects of the disaster, 3 interesting facts about it, and what it looks like when it occurs. They must also include text features that are found in non-fiction texts. The directions sheet includes a checklist for students to use (and the teacher!) for grading.
