Order of Draw Introduction Stations for Phlebotomy

These stations are a great way to introduce your students to order of draw.

Use these stations to have students delve into the reasons that order of draw is so important for the phlebotomist and begin the practice of memorizing the order and additives.

Many of the activities in these stations I leave out through out the first month of school and send students to practice independently even after the actual stations activity is complete.

My hope is that these hands on activities while moving will help your students to learn and retain order of draw better than ever, enabling them to be successful on their certification exam.

**Please note that I use the NHA order of draw (it aligns with CLSI) as this is the certification program that I teach.**
