Pattern Memorization Game

I’ve provided 4 pages (each with 3 sets of 5 images), making 12 sets total. Each set has a theme of colors and various items. This is meant as a WHOLE CLASS activity, so you don’t have to print in color or anything.

The idea is you show one row at a time on the screen, and students use their blank template to write their answers on each line. You’ll want to cover each row after a designated amount of time (I recommend one minute).

They’ll be asked to either write the pattern of colors or the pattern of pictures after memorizing and the row being covered. Some rows on different pages look similar, but aren’t identical, and what is being asked for may differ (color vs image). This is more about memorization than pattern, though patterns may be represented.

I’ve provided an answer key. Focus on FUN over “right answers” and scores.
