Post-noun Elaboration: Robots

- Great printed out, up on the Smartboard, or on a computer screen! Use one-on-one, in a small group, or with the entire class!

- Two sets of Six robot cards. 18 descriptions for one set and 12 descriptions for the other set.

- Description cards with post noun elaboration. For example, “Find the robot with three eyes.”

- Some cards address the concept “every” for multiple robots.

- A pacing strip page for use in games. “Do you have a robot with ?”

- 10 page PDF

Ideas

- Work with a field of 2 or more cards or the entire sheet and ask the student to find the described robot(s).

- Can also be used to work on color or shape identification. For example, “Find the blue faced robot” or “Find the robot with an oval head.”

- Print two sheets and play Go Fish or Memory to work on using the phrases independently with or without the pacing page.
