Power Words! Vocabulary Building Flashcards and Word Wall Set 3

We are confident that you will be extremely pleased with these vocabulary building flashcards for your student scholars to use!  They will love the co-operative learning that challenging each other to vocabulary knowledge brings! This product can also be used as a stand-alone set for vocabulary building, or as a building block in your word wall!

We recommend that you print these cards on 8 sheets of card stock, which you can then cut apart and laminate for a strong, long lasting, resource. When you print double sided from the templates, four key words, along with sample sentences using each word as examples, will be on the front of the sheet, and the parts of speech and definitions will appear on the reverse side aligned with the correct word. Additionally, the words are grouped by parts of speech. Sheets 1, 2, and 3 are all adjectives; sheet 4 contains adverbs; sheets 5 and 6 are only nouns; sheets 7 & 8 are only verbs. This allows you to color code your card stock to the parts of speech, which makes for a fast and colorful word wall! Alternatively, for the word wall only, print single sided, and your odd number pages are your words, with the even numbers being your definitions. Please note that many, but not all, of the words in this list are also in the Touching Spirit Bear Vocabulary Building series offered by ELA in Middle School.
