Description

We are confident that you will be extremely pleased with these review cards for your student scholars to use! Additionally, this is a FREE SET! These flashcards are excellent for vocabulary building and for word walls!

We recommend that you print these cards on 4 sheets of card stock, which you can then cut apart and laminate for a strong, long lasting, resource. When you print double sided from the templates, four key words, along with sample sentences using each word as examples, will be on the front of the sheet, and the parts of speech and definitions will appear on the reverse side aligned with the correct word. In addition, we have redone these so that each page also contains a single part of speech. Page 1 are the two adverbs, page 2 contains the nouns, and pages 3 and 4 are all verbs; so, if you use a different color cardstock for each part of speech, instant color-coded word wall!

The words reviewed in this set are:

Ancestor; Ancestry; Breach; Ceremoniously; Dawdle; Diminish; Fester; Gunwales; Redemption; Sarcastically; Savor; Scour; Stoke; Vault

This is a great set of vocabulary terms. I like that it includes the term, definition, part of speech, and an example sentence. Well done.

I like how the words are broken down identifying the part of speech, definition, and modeled in a sentence. It makes a good review for the students!

    Word of PRAISE!

Posted by Christy Gandara on May 30th 2020

Vocabulary is so important...and having students look up definitions is just tedious busy work in this teacher's humble opinion. There is a time and place for Dictionary skills - with Vocabulary, focus on Vocabulary skills. Everything a student needs is provided on the card! This allows both teacher and student to focus on what is important - applying and understanding word meaning.

    Great vocabulary words!

Great list of vocabulary words! I love how you included the definition, which part of speech it is, and an example of how it's used in a sentence.
