Description
Students will learn about the people, events, developments, debates, court cases, and more from Andrew Jackson and his presidency (era of Jacksonian Democracy) with these 20+ resources. Topics include Jackson and the bank, nullification, conflict with Native Americans, the Panic of 1837, the Election of 1836, William Henry Harrison's one month term, and more!
One activity divides students into campaign committees for the Election of 1828 and culminates in a class vote for president. There are primary source resources, a one pager, a map, a trading card and cube project, an image and caption matching activity, a timeline project, a mix and match review, "true/false/fix," an editable test, and more!
Most of activities would work well with a sub and the answers are included where appropriate.
