Students will learn about Carter's presidency with this presentation (you can also use it as a gallery walk) and note guide. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, the energy crisis, stagflation, airline deregulation, crisis of confidence, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, SALT II, the Iran Hostage Crisis, the Camp David Accords, and more! The PowerPoint is 25 slides and the note guide has 38 questions/tasks for students to complete. The resource is included as a PowerPoint and PDF for your convenience. The answers are included where appropriate!
Sample questions include:
--How did Carter attempt to increase fuel availability?
--Rewrite the explanation/example of stagflation in your own words to demonstrate understanding.
--Identify the main point of the Crisis of Confidence excerpt.
