President John Adams Review Activity

Students complete an interview activity to review John Adams' presidency. They first answer 5 history based questions, then they "interview" Adams after becoming president (5 questions and answers), and then they conduct his last interview prior to his death (5 questions and answers). The last task is a bonus creative opportunity. The answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub!

Sample questions include:
--Explain the purpose of the Alien and Sedition Acts. Then, explain whether or not you think they were justified.
--Explain this political cartoon and how it relates to Adams’ presidency.
--Who were the Midnight Judges, and how did Adams try using them to his advantage?
--What is your ultimate goal as president?
--What do you think will be your biggest challenge in achieving your goals?
--Do you have any regrets from your time in office?
