President Richard Nixon Activity

Students complete a 3 part activity to review President Nixon and his presidency. The first part has 5 questions to help students review factual parts of Nixon's presidency. In the second part of the activity students "interview" Nixon right after his inauguration (5 questions and answers), in the third part they conduct his last interview on his deathbed (6 questions and answers), and the last task is a bonus creative opportunity. An answer key is included where appropriate. This would work for a sub. 

Sample questions include: 
--Why was Nixon’s visit to China so noteworthy? How did it affect relations between the United States and Soviet Union? 
--Identify the Nixon Doctrine and explain how it relates to the Middle East. 
--What is the most important item on your presidential agenda?
--What do you think will be your biggest challenge in achieving your goals?
--Do you have any regrets from your time in office?
