Description
Students complete a 3 part activity to review President Reagan and his presidency. The first part has 5 questions to help students review factual parts of Reagan's presidency. In the second part of the activity students "interview" Reagan right after his inauguration (5 questions and answers), in the third part they conduct his last interview on his deathbed (6 questions and answers), and the last task is a bonus creative opportunity. An answer key is included where appropriate. This would work for a sub.
Sample questions include:
--What does SDI stand for and what was its purpose? Why did Reagan support it? Was it successful, why or why not?
--Provide an identification for the “Iran-Contra Affair” and explain how it affected Reagan’s time in office.
--What is the most important item on your presidential agenda?
--What do you think will be your biggest challenge in achieving your goals?
--Which of your 2 terms do you think was more successful and why? Would (or could) you have made any decision differently to make the other term more successful, if so what and why?
