Description
Students will read, analyze, and compare and contrast Woodrow Wilson's First Inaugural Address and Second Inaugural Address by answering 31 questions, filling out a 16 item analysis graphic organizer, and completing 2 extension tasks.
The answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub! See the preview for a closer look!
Sample questions include:
--How does Wilson see America as being set apart from other countries?
--Inferring from prior knowledge, explain the “cost” to focusing on effective means of production.
--Why doesn’t Wilson want to take too much time reflecting on the last four years?
--Explain why his intention wasn’t able to match the reality.
--Summarize the main point of the 4th paragraph.
--On what grounds can, or will, Wilson succeed?
--What is being “forged” and why/how?
--Does it sound like the same president delivered both speeches, why or why not?
