Description
Building upon a discussion of The Federalist Papers and The Antifederalist Papers, students will create a poster that either supports of opposes ratification or the Constitution.
Ideally, the project uses a sheet of 11 x 17 paper. A suggested design for how the students should format their poster is included in the presentation.
The presentation includes highlights of both The Federalist Papers and Antifederalist Papers, as well as links to websites that summarize additional papers. Students should use these to support their arguments either supporting or opposing ratification.
I have also uploaded a rubric to assist in assessing completed posters.
Instructors can utilize an additional resource, the Federalist Papers, to discuss arguments supporting or opposing ratification. You can also purchase them as a bundle.
