Your students will love learning about the purpose of the European Union with this engaging, no prep reading activity! This is perfect for adding literacy to your social studies curriculum because it’s academically-aligned for ELA and for social studies. This resource includes three activity pages and their answer keys. The passage is written at a 6th grade reading level and is accompanied with six matching prompts, one graphic organizer, eight multiple choice prompts, and two constructed response prompts. All answer keys included.

The objective of this activity is for students to be able to describe the purpose of the European Union and the relationship between member nations.
