Questions: When - Weather & Clothes

- 24 clothing/weather items paired with “when” questions.

- 24 corresponding weather icon answers.

- 5 weather icons for sorting tasks.

- Sentence strip – “I wear (clothing item) in the (weather icon).”

- In color and black/white.

Ideas

- Have students use the pictures and weather icons as they become familiar with the vocabulary, questions, and concepts.

- As students become more independent, fade use of visual supports for questions and/or answers.

- Use the sorting pages to put clothing items in appropriate categories.

- Sentence strips can be used for sentence practice, or for students to add an appropriate picture to complete the sentence. For example, you can put a weather icon and the student can choose and appropriate clothing item.
