Script Summary:
In this lively retelling of the classic Greek myth, King Midas, a ruler obsessed with wealth, wishes for the power to turn everything he touches into gold. Granted this wish by the mischievous god Dionysus, Midas initially revels in his newfound ability, transforming his palace into a dazzling golden haven. However, his joy quickly turns to despair when he realizes the devastating consequences of his greed—he can’t eat, and worse, his beloved daughter, Marigold, is also at risk.

With the help of his wise daughter, a humble gardener, and the advice of a priestess, Midas learns the true value of love and life over material wealth. In the end, he pleads with Dionysus to reverse the curse, choosing his family and community over riches. The story blends humor, heartfelt lessons, and modern Gen Z slang to engage young audiences, leaving them with an important moral: true happiness comes from love, connection, and appreciating life’s simple joys
