Description
Students will learn about the Roman Republic with this PowerPoint (can be printed and used as a gallery walk) and stations activity (can be used as a jigsaw). The presentation is 49 slides covering Rome's foundation, the establishment of the Republic, Cincinnatus, general political set up, the Laws of the Twelve Tables, the Punic Wars, the Gracchus brothers, civil wars, Sulla, the First Triumvirate, Caesar's rise and fall, and more! The note guide questions are short answer, multiple choice, true/false/fix, fill in the blank, and a creative task.
The jigsaw/stations activity introduces Roman society, religion/mythology, and architecture with 3 readings, a graphic organizer, review questions (short answer and true/false/fix), and a creative task. A teacher information page is included for the stations/jigsaw file.
