Shape Monster Valentine STEM Challenge - FREE

This is a ready to use lesson featuring the story Grogglle's Monster Valentine. This is a fun STEM activity for Valentine's Day. After reading the story, students are asked to engineer a monster that students can then feed shapes to! This is just a fun Engineering STEM Challenge!! This lesson gives you information about the book, links to videos for the book, and then video links for kiddos to learn more about shapes. Then it gives you the challenge, suggested materials, and guides you through the process of getting kids ready to complete the challenge. This one is set-up to be used with Pre-k or Kindergarten. I use the book as the hook and then turn the problem into our STEM challenge. I have my Pre-k students for 30 minutes at a time. Please feel free to share any feedback.
