Description

Why do good people do bad things?
This lesson takes a twist on the classic study by Milgram. Students begin with a questionnaire and four corners activity to debate how they would act in a given situation. Small groups will read various real-world scenarios of obedience to authority and try to conclude what the causes people to obey. Finally, they will doodle their way through a Crash Course video and a Common Lit article about the classic Milgram experiment.

All lessons include learning targets and essential questions, approximate timing, links where appropriate, and easy to print copies of handouts.
