Description

Who are we really... our personality? Or simply a product of our environment?
This resource begins with a gallery walk to introduce schemas and social scripts. Then students read an overview of the Stanford Prison Experiment and come to their own conclusions based on a vocabulary tone analysis activity. Finally, students participate in a snowball think-write-pair-share discussion about some of the big questions surrounding roles, conformity, and the power of the situation.

All lessons contain learning targets and essential questions, suggested pacing, and links where applicable, and easy read-to-print handouts.
