Description
Updated with more text and images!
This collection of social stories is meant to teach younger children (individually or as a class/family) how to respond to common feelings, thoughts, or experiences, especially ones that disrupt situations or hurt someone. Primarily, children with ASD/autism, learning disabilities, or emotional volatility would benefit, but not exclusively. Any child can enjoy these brief one-pagers about things they experience.
At least some of these are written more like a letter to a general child and less like a "story" of fiction, but still serve the purpose of making children feel seen, understood, and potentially equipped with a solution to a problem. Some are from the POV of how to treat others, and some more toward self. The discussion guide can make these easier to understand and apply.
