Description
ELEMENTARY SPANISH NUMBERS 0-31 COMMUNICATIVE WHOLE-GROUP GAME A great game for developing language skills and practicing numbers 0-31 in Spanish I HAVE, WHO HAS? is a lively whole-group communicative activity, perfect for practicing numbers 0-31 in Spanish. The repetitive nature of the questions and answers really do help to embed key vocabulary. The game has a multi-skill focus: speaking, listening and reading, and some engagement with basic writing in Spanish. Perfect at any time of the school year, starter, warm-up and pick-me-up!
The aim of the game is to create a Spanish human number chain as quickly as possible. The game works best against a timer, regularly over a longer-term series of lessons, and several times in a single lesson – can students beat their own time record? Students can also apply their knowledge of numbers in a very practical way, practice their Spanish spelling, and put their artistic talents to good use at the same time, by creating their own set of question cards on the quiz card template. Do some high-speed counting warm-up activities, forwards and backwards, to get everyone ready to play!
There are four cards per 8.5 x 11 (A4) page, which I’ve found to be just the right size for students as they begin to familiarize themselves with reading and speaking in Spanish.
