Description
This is a great way to review causes and effects of major events from the later part of early American History. Students are given a baggie of cards that contain causes and effects. They make a line of cards for the causes (these cards all have arrows) and line up the other cards that would match for the effect. For example: cause and effect would be "Invention of the Cotton Gin by Eli Whitney (cause) - "Slavery expands (effect)" See preview picture to clarify.
All you need to do is print this and cut. Of course laminating the cards will help them last longer. I suggest you print each set off on a different color of paper. If a group drops a card, you'll know which baggie to put it back in.
