How to Use:

Option 1 (Long term use):

-Print Character, Setting and Event cards on card stock and laminate if possible.

-Place the cards in 3 stacks or folders.

-Have your student grab a "Story Builder Template" and 1 card from each category.

-Your student will write a story using each picture card that they chose and use the checkbox to check their work once done.

-Once done have the students draw a picture in the blank character, setting and event box.

-Follow the same steps for any of the Create a Character, Setting and Event Story Templates.

Option 2 (Short term use):

-Print Character, Setting and Event cards on regular copy paper.

-Place the cards in 3 stacks or folders.

-Have your student grab a "Story Builder Template" and 1 card from each category.

-Have your student glue their cards into the appropriate character, setting and event box.

-Your student will write a story using each picture card that they chose and use the checkbox to check their work once done.

-Follow the same steps for any of the Create a Character, Setting and Event Story Templates.

Option 3 (Creativity):

-Have your student use any of the 4 available templates.

-Have the students come up with and draw their own picture in the blank character, setting and event box.

-Once done your student will write a story using the pictures they drew as a guide and use the checkbox to check their work.

-Follow the same steps for any of the Create a Character, Setting and Event Story Templates.
