Secondary Math Stations
I utilize the stations-approach of instruction for my special education classes. We utilize a block-schedule in our high school, which allows for additional time in the classroom for concepts. With that being said, each lesson is designed with a warm-up, guided instruction, and independent practice (stations) section for the class period. I use following format for my math stations: M (MAPs Assessment - technology differentiation), A (Activity), T (Meet with Teacher), and H (Help with Friends). All of the resources listed have been used in my classes. If you have any specific questions about implementation/modification/etc., please do not hesitate to ask!
